Essex Piercing Academy was founded with one clear purpose: to professionalise body piercing education in Essex and beyond. We believe quality training should be available to anyone who wants it: training built on rigorous safety standards, genuine hands-on practice, and real industry knowledge.


Body piercing is a skilled, regulated profession. We take that seriously. Every course we run is CPD accredited, every curriculum reflects current industry and safety standards, and every student leaves with the confidence and competence to pierce professionally and responsibly.


Based in Romford, Essex, we've trained students from across the county and right across the UK, from complete career-changers to established beauty professionals adding a new skill to their repertoire.

Our Approach

How We Teach

Safety Above Everything

Sterilisation, anatomy, cross-contamination prevention, and client care are not box-ticking exercises. They are the foundation of every course we run. You will not pierce a single client before you understand the risks and how to eliminate them.

Learning by Doing

Theory is necessary. Confidence is built through practice. We maximise hands-on time in every course, because reading about piercing and actually piercing are two very different things. Our small group sizes exist for exactly this reason.

Support Beyond the Course

A certificate is the beginning, not the end. Every Essex Piercing Academy student has lifetime access to our support network and educators. The questions you have six months into your career are just as important as the ones you have on Day 1.

Essex Piercing Academy is based in Romford town centre, easily accessible from across Essex by road and rail. Romford is served by the Elizabeth line, with direct connections from London and across East London and Essex.


We welcome students from every part of Essex: Chelmsford, Colchester, Southend, Brentwood, Basildon, Harlow, and beyond. The vast majority of our students travel to us from within Essex, making us truly Essex's piercing academy.
